Nestled in the Savoie region of the French Alps is our chalet, the Petit Mont Blanc. Find us at the heart of the Peisey-Vallandry ski resort, in the centre of the Paradiski domain. With stunning views across the Tarentaise valley and to the north, our namesake, the impressive Mont Blanc, sits in the distance creating an unforgettable alpine landscape.
Our chalet offers fantastic accommodation on the pistes of Peisey-Vallandry. The perfect base for ski-in-ski-out mountain holidays as well as summer escapes.
The Petit Mont Blanc has outstanding views across the mountains and sleeps up to 12 guests within its 6 bedrooms. Relax in the guest lounge with a good book, share a DVD with friends or challenge them on the Playstation - how you unwind after a day out is up to you. After a huge renovation undertaken throughout 2022, all of the bedrooms have been reconstructed with brand new luxury ensuites. There are 4 twin rooms, a double room with a mezzanine child's bed and a double room with a children's bunk alcove. Downstairs, you can enjoy breakfast and dinner in our cosy dining room.
Our chalet is perfectly located right next to the Grizzly chairlift and a beginner's slope so you really can set off from your doorstep!
In the winter Vallandry, along with the other villages of Les Arcs and La Plagne, forms the linked Paradiski ski domain. With 425km of pistes and 70% of the area above 2000m, it is one of the largest and highest resorts in France with skiing to suit all abilities.
Vallandry is on the doorstep of the Vanoise National Park and in summer offers the chance to explore on foot or by bike. There are plenty of stunning lakes to stop at for lunch (don't forget to pack a picnic!). For the adrenaline seekers, experience paragliding, white water rafting and rock climbing.
With a host of other outdoors activities to enjoy in the surrounding valley, the Petit Mont Blanc is the perfect base for a summer mountain holiday.
See what's on in Vallandry on the Peisey-Vallandry website.
Whilst having all the amenities to complete your holiday, Vallandry is still small enough to retain its mountain village charm.
With a thriving resort centre for all your shopping needs and more than a dozen restaurants, you are sure to find something to suit your tastes. For evening entertainment, there is a cinema and numerous bars including the lively Bar Mont Blanc, a stone's throw away for the authentic après-ski experience!
Our friendly team of chalet staff are on hand to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Need to hire equipment? Want a local recommendation for a fantastic bar, restaurant or cafe? Just ask us and we'd be happy to go above and beyond to make your holiday unforgettable.
Alpine skiing and snowboarding at its best.
Peisey-Vallandry boasts a variety of pistes from greens and blues for beginners and intermediate skiers, and reds and blacks for more experienced skiers. You can also explore further afield and discover off-piste with a local guide. For snowboarders, there are two snowboard parks where you can hone your skills. Hop on the Vanoise Express to also enjoy the La Plagne resort, taking in the overwhelming drop as you go.

Travel by road, rail or air - how you arrive is up to you...
With three of the largest French ski resorts in our valley, there are travel options available to suit all budgets. Being situated above the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice, a major terminus in the heart of the Savoie region of the alps, our chalet is easily accessible.
SELF DRIVE
Being situated on the North West corner of the Alps, the Tarentaise Valley is under 10 hours drive from Calais. Self drive can offer a very economical way to access the Alps particularly at peak time when other methods of transport are prohibitively expensive. With no baggage allowance and flexibility to travel at your convenience, this can be a great option for families or small groups.
BY COACH
With so many major resorts situated within the valley, there are multiple coach companies servicing both Moutiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, often providing the most economical way to travel to the Alps from the UK.
BY RAIL
Bourg-Saint-Maurice is the final station on the Tarentaise Valley railway. Serviced by both local French trains and Eurostar international trains direct from London, the train can offer a very efficient way to access our valley.
BY AIR
Situated within just a few hours drive of four major airports: Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble, there are many flight options available. We can help you book shared or private minibus transfers or you can hire a car.
INSURANCE
Travel insurance is essential on any holiday, especially a skiing one. We have used MPI Brokers before who offer competitive cover for Winter or Summer travel. To find out more see their website here.
